Mana Project has three programs. The Greensong Program educates the public about the
botanical collection and the endangered environment by sponsoring orchid, palm and fruit tree
tours, seed and plant sales, teaching programs, environmental events and films and offering the
public annual garden memberships. The Artist in Residence Program provides environmental
artists, writer, teachers, naturalists and scientists an opportunity to live in, teach and exhibit in
the garden and do community outreach. The I Love Parrot Program is an avian education
program which addresses the history of birds on this site, the plight of exotic birds, and
provides a small re-homing sanctuary for unwanted parrots.
